Park-N-Dine Restaurant – 1958
Rich in Maryland History
The Park -N- Dine Restaurant, famous for serving good food in a family atmosphere since 1946, was a regular stop for many travelers on the National Pike (former route 40, current route 144). Today, as cars, trucks, RVs, and motorcycles zoom along Interstate 70, we find generations of travelers still visiting our restaurant.
Park-N-Dine Restaurant – 2012
Park-N-Dine has been in operation for over 75 years.
Current owner and chef, Fred Salimi, brings his own flavor of nostalgia to the Park-N-Dine.
Walking into the restaurant is a bit like time traveling – with the original diner portion of the restaurant offering travelers a quick seat and a hot, satisfying meal. Visitors may sit in the many booths or at the counter, near the soda fountain. The glass windows are a confirmation to the authentic diner structure found in the early days of the Park-N-Dine.
Many can remember traveling with the family back in the early 1960’s, stopping by the Park-N-Dine for a quick meal while traveling west from Maryland and back again.
